Andrew Sharp blasted 123 v Coomoora in Turf 5.

Turf One v Dandy West

Against all odds Nath King strode to the wicket to open the batting and promptly blasted 37. We struggled to put together a partnership after that and were rolled for 136. Tim Ford (below) batted well down the order for 28.

Our defence was denied the dream start with a catch going down on the first ball of the innings. Spolly was able to find the edge three more times, including their captain who was cruelly denied the chance to call for his own single. Slocs and Malinga also claimed a scalp, leaving the hosts 5/61 in reply.

Turf Three v Hampton Park

Brett Healey led the charge, claiming 5/31 as we dismissed Hampton Park for 184. Sammy was also impressive with the pill, taking three wickets.

Nath and Oogs got through unscathed at the end of the day to have us 0/21 in reply.

Turf Five v Coomoora

A classic knock from Andrew Sharp (123_ included 78 in boundaries. The veteran left hander wound the clock back with a classy display. We lost out last wicket on 248 with fine hands from Braden (30) and Scotty (36).

Turf Seven v Berwick Springs

A tough days cricket for the lads. We had them on toast at 4/15 before a 133-run partnership evened up the ledger. Nath George again bowled with purpose, taking four wickets. Harsh and Jayden each took two wickets as we held the score to a chaseable 198.

Under 17’s v Cranbourne

A good effort from the boys, batting their overs to finish with 129. Jake (41) and Jack (37) were the main stays of the innings.

Under 15’s v Narre Warren

We struck some early trouble with the bat before rallying to finish with 192. Ethan and Diyon both posted half centuries in the total. In reply, Narre are 1/9.

Under 13’s v Lynbrook

We were made to work hard for our runs against a good bowling side. Although we were one short, we batted the overs to finish with 130. Angus (below) was unbeaten on 38 and Herschelle blasted a brisk 23.
